Jaguiar XJ12 SIII 5.3L renovation progress - front suspension

The removal of the suspension required the fabrication of two tools. One to support the engine, the other to remove the springs one of which was broken, unknown to me at that time. The renovation of the wheel bearings required a further two bearing drifts to be made. For the reassembly I used the official Jaguar (Churchill) tool as the energy stored in the springs coupled with the alignment problems precluded the use of my hand made tool. The renovation involved a complete strip down sand blasting all rusty parts, and replacement of many parts including shocks, bushes, disks, ball joints and springs. This project took about a month of reassembly off and on.
